What is Alfredo Pasta?
Alfredo Pasta is a fresh cream pasta with parmesan cheese and butter. It was originally invented by Alfredo Di Lelio in his mother’s restaurant in Italy in the mid-1900s. The original recipe was very simple and only included butter and cheese. Cream was later added.This dish became widespread which eventually spread to the United States. In the US it is served as a main dish sometimes garnished with chicken. In Italy, it is considered as home cooking. This is an easy recipe and budget friendly.

Optional Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
Butter
Heavy Cream
Garlic
Parmesan Cheese
Salt
Black Pepper
Cook Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Melt butter in a pan on medium heat
Add cream and being mixture together while whisking for 5 minutes
Add garlic and cheese and whisk till melted
Add salt and black pepper

2 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1-2 chicken breast
1 jar of Bertolli Alfredo Sauce or homemade alfredo sauce
1 package of fettuccine pasta
A pot of water
Cook
In a pot sprinkle salt and olive oil and bring to a boil
When boiling add in fettuccine pasta
Turn down heat and let the noodles sit till soft or chewable
Drain out water of pasta noodles
Sprinkle salt and black pepper on the chicken breast
Add oil to a pan and fry chicken breast on both sides
Cut chicken breast to think slices
Add fettuccine pasta, and Bertolli Alfredo Sauce to a pot and heat till warm
Put the pasta on a plate and place chicken breast on top
You have Alfreda pasta
Storing Alfredo Pasta
Store in a airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 5 days
Reheating Alfredo Pasta
Put in microwavable safe container and heat for about 1 minute
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and place pasta in oven-safe dish and heat for about 10 minutes
